Injured Strowman wins Triple Threat, advances to Fatal Four-Way for Intercontinental title shot
Braun Strowman secured a significant victory in a Triple Threat match against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser on WWE Raw, despite dealing with rib injuries from a previous attack by Bronson Reed. After the show, Strowman shared on social media that he had consumed 11 tequilas to cope with his pain, while expressing his determination to perform and asserting his status as the “MONSTER” of WWE.
As a result of his win, Strowman has earned a spot in a Fatal Four-Way match scheduled for next week’s Raw. He will compete against Ilja Dragunov, Jey Uso, and Pete Dunne, with the winner going on to challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. Interestingly, Bronson Reed was originally slated to participate in the Triple Threat match, but had to withdraw due to COVID-19. This development may lead to tension between Reed and Strowman in future shows, as Reed might be unhappy about Strowman taking his place in the championship pursuit.
