Injured Rhea Ripley Attacks Liv Morgan with Crutch Following Tag Team Victory
On Monday’s wrestling event, Rhea Ripley, despite being injured, attacked Liv Morgan with a crutch. This occurred after Damian Priest and Jey Uso defeated the World Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. Following the victory, Ripley and Uso shared a moment, with Ripley leading the crowd in a chant. Ripley later celebrated on social media, posting photos of the event.
The attack is part of an ongoing feud between Ripley and Priest against their former group, The Judgment Day. This conflict began when Liv Morgan’s relationship with Dominik Mysterio caused a split in the group. Ripley and Morgan have additional tensions due to an injury Morgan caused, forcing Ripley to give up her WWE Women’s World Championship. Morgan has been taunting Ripley with the title since winning it at SummerSlam.
While the recent victory might put Uso and Priest in line for a tag team title shot, Uso is currently focused on the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He is set to participate in a Fatal Four Way Match on September 9 to determine the next challenger for champion Bron Breakker.
