Hulk Hogan Signs New 5-Year WWE Contract Focusing on Licensing and Ambassador Duties
Hulk Hogan, the legendary wrestler, has recently signed a new five-year contract with WWE. This deal focuses on licensing, merchandising, and ambassador duties, potentially including appearances at major events like WrestleMania. Hogan, who will soon turn 71, expressed his enthusiasm for continuing his involvement with the company.
This agreement marks the continuation of Hogan’s long-standing relationship with WWE, which dates back to the late 1970s. However, this partnership has not been without controversy. In 2015, Hogan was removed from the WWE Hall of Fame and released from his ambassador role due to racist comments he made on video. He was reinstated three years later, though his return was met with mixed reactions. Recently, Hogan has also been in the news for controversial political statements, including his endorsement of Donald Trump and comments about Kamala Harris.
