Former TNA star Rosemary makes surprise WWE NXT appearance, faces Kelani Jordan
The collaboration between WWE and TNA Wrestling continued on this week’s episode of “WWE NXT” with the surprise appearance of former TNA Knockouts Champion Rosemary. NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan faced Rosemary in a non-title match, which was set up as a surprise by Jordan’s upcoming challenger, Wendy Choo. Despite a competitive bout featuring moves like spears, headbutts, and dropkicks, Jordan emerged victorious with a split-legged moonsault.
After the match, Choo orchestrated a sneak attack on Jordan. As Jordan was distracted by Choo’s laughter and face on the LED screens, Choo ambushed her from behind and locked in a sleeper hold. In a show of alliance, Rosemary slid the NXT Women’s North American Championship towards Choo, who then held it over the unconscious Jordan. This development adds tension to the upcoming title match between Jordan and Choo at “NXT” No Mercy on September 1.
