Eric Bischoff praises MJF’s villainous prowess in AEW, calling him a “savant” despite young age
MJF, a young wrestler in his 20s, has made a significant impact in AEW over the past five years. After a brief period as a fan favorite, he recently returned to his villainous character, setting up a rivalry with Will Ospreay for the International Championship. Former WCW executive Eric Bischoff has praised MJF’s heel work, calling him a “savant” in that role despite his limited experience and young age.
Bischoff highlighted MJF’s impressive achievements, noting that he has accomplished a great deal with relatively few matches and while overcoming injuries. He described MJF as a “classic heel” in modern wrestling and praised his performance as the American Champion leading up to the All In event. Bischoff also complimented MJF’s ring attire at Wembley Stadium, though he criticized Will Ospreay’s entrance, which he felt was out of place for the London setting.
