Dave Bautista discusses WWE Hall of Fame induction and wrestling return possibilities
Dave Bautista, who retired his “Batista” wrestling persona five years ago at WrestleMania 35, recently discussed his potential WWE Hall of Fame induction. In an interview for his new movie “The Killer’s Game,” Bautista revealed that he had an opportunity to be inducted a couple of years ago in Los Angeles, which would have been fitting as it was where he won his first world title. However, due to his film commitments in South Africa at the time, the induction couldn’t be arranged.
The former World Heavyweight Champion expressed his desire to eventually join the Hall of Fame, stating that he’s still open to the idea and would like it to happen one day. Bautista also addressed the possibility of returning to the wrestling ring. While he admitted to occasionally feeling the urge to wrestle again, especially when hearing his old theme music, he emphasized that he wouldn’t want to tarnish the memory of his final match against Triple H.
