Bryan Danielson’s Emotional AEW All In Match Features Family Support and Possible Career Finale
Bryan Danielson faced AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at AEW All In, in what was promoted as potentially his last match. Danielson’s wife Brie and their children were present at ringside to support him. He entered to “The Final Countdown” with the crowd cheering and doing “Yes!” chants, then greeted his family before the match.
During the bout, Strickland used Danielson’s family presence to taunt him, and the bloodied Danielson often reached out to them. After winning, Danielson blew a kiss to his family. His Blackpool Combat Club teammates then brought the family into the ring to celebrate.
Brie, formerly known as Brie Bella in WWE, also appeared in a pre-taped interview on the All In Zero Hour broadcast. She is a former WWE Divas Champion and Hall of Famer. Brie and her twin sister Nikki last appeared for WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble before their contracts expired in March 2023, as they decided to pursue other opportunities.
