Bryan Danielson Faces Retirement Stakes in AEW World Championship Match at All In
Bryan Danielson is set to challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at the upcoming AEW All In event at Wembley Stadium. The match has high stakes, as Danielson will be forced to retire if he loses. Despite being open to retirement to spend more time with his family, Danielson is determined to have one last run as world champion.
Former AEW star Matt Hardy shared his thoughts on the match during his podcast. Hardy predicts Danielson will win the title, stating it’s time for the “American Dragon” to become champion. He believes Danielson is deserving of an AEW World Title run, describing him as Tony Khan’s right-hand man and the heart and soul of AEW.
While Hardy believes Danielson is sincere about wanting to step away from wrestling, he expects Danielson to have a final stretch of high-profile matches as AEW World Champion before retiring to focus on being a father. Danielson’s two children will be at ringside during the All In event.
