Bronson Reed Replaced by Braun Strowman in WWE IC Title Tournament Due to COVID-19 Diagnosis
Bronson Reed was set to participate in the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders Tournament on WWE Raw, facing Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser. However, Reed tested positive for COVID-19 and was removed from the match. Braun Strowman took his place in the Triple Threat match and qualified for the upcoming Fatal-Four Way finals.
Reed expressed his frustration on social media about being replaced by Strowman, whom he had defeated in a Parking Lot Brawl the previous week. The Fatal-Four Way finals will now feature Strowman, Jey Uso, Ilya Dragunov, and Pete Dunne. The winner will challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship, possibly at the upcoming Bad Blood event. Reed is expected to return to the ring once he has fully recovered from COVID-19, though no specific timeline has been provided.
Wait …. so they replaced me with the “monster” I slayed last week???
