Briscoe, Cassidy, and Takeshita earn spots to challenge Okada for AEW Continental Championship at All Out
Three wrestlers have secured their spots to challenge Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship at the upcoming All Out event. Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Konosuke Takeshita emerged victorious in their respective matches during “AEW Collision” on Friday night.
In a brutal and bloody contest, Mark Briscoe overcame Lance Archer. The match began with Archer ambushing Briscoe before the bell, causing a cut above Briscoe’s eye. Despite the early setback, Briscoe fought back and eventually won with a sliding lariat and his signature Froggy Bow move. Orange Cassidy also advanced by defeating Bryan Keith in an action-packed match. Cassidy employed his unique style, including his trademark lazy kicks, before finishing Keith with a series of impactful moves, including the Orange Punch and a tornado DDT from the top rope.
The stage is now set for a four-way battle for the AEW Continental Championship, with Okada defending against Briscoe, Cassidy, and Takeshita at All Out in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday.
