AEW’s Swerve Strickland downplays backstage conflict rumors, emphasizes focus on product quality
Swerve Strickland, a wrestler with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has addressed rumors of backstage conflicts within the company. In an interview before AEW All In, Strickland claimed that reports of locker room disagreements are exaggerated and often seem to surface strategically before major events.
Strickland explained that while there may be occasional disagreements, this is normal in any workplace. He suggested that AEW’s situation is unique because their internal matters are often made public and discussed online. He views the heightened emotions as a sign of passion among the wrestlers.
The wrestler emphasized that the most important aspect is the quality of the product delivered to fans, rather than backstage gossip. Strickland expressed satisfaction with the company’s growth and direction.
In related news, Strickland signed a new AEW contract during the All In pre-show. Later that day, he lost his AEW World Championship to Bryan Danielson in the main event of AEW All In.
