AEW Executive Warns Garcia and MJF of Dangerous Neck Moves Ahead of All Out Match
Daniel Garcia made a surprise return at AEW’s All In event, interfering in MJF’s International Championship match and causing him to lose the title to Will Ospreay. Following this, Garcia challenged MJF to a match at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view on September 7. This confrontation stems from a previous incident where MJF injured Garcia in July.
Interim Executive Vice President Christopher Daniels has expressed serious concerns about the upcoming match between Garcia and MJF. In a video message, Daniels warned both wrestlers about the dangers of intentionally targeting each other’s necks during the match. He shared his personal experience with long-term neck issues resulting from an in-ring accident and cautioned that their planned moves, such as piledrivers from the second rope, could lead to career-ending injuries, paralysis, or worse. Daniels noted the intense motivation he saw in Garcia’s eyes to harm MJF and concluded by hoping both competitors would survive their encounter.
