Active WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio Inducted into Hall of Fame in Surprising Move

However, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H clarified that they wanted to recognize Mysterio’s 35-year career while he was still performing, especially in his home state.

The induction holds special significance for Mysterio, who hails from Chula Vista, just two hours south of Los Angeles. California played a crucial role in his early career, where he wrestled in Hollywood bars. Now, as part of the WWE Raw brand, Mysterio continues to perform alongside his son Dominik.
